Each Little Bird That Sings by Deborah Wiles

This was such a charming, comforting story. To come to it after my auto accident was a special treat. Comfort, the main character, has grown up in a small town of Snapfinger, Mississippi where her father runs the funeral home and her mother owns the flower shop. Comfort is a budding author who has been surrounded by death and spends time writing "life notices" rather than "death notices". Her great-great aunt Florintine once told her that "Death doesn't notice things but life does". However, when death comes close to her, Comfort will be challenged to step back and look at those things in life she holds dear and come to grips with the reality of death. I encourage you to pick up this book and look at the crafting. Wiles makes you laugh, cry, and helped me see the world through the eyes of a ten year old. Let me know your thinking...
